I am trying to get in a habit of writing down everything that keeps me grateful on a daily basis. I have just started this exercise for myself but it helps me stay grounded and helps me to continually see the more positive side of every moment in time.
Why not try it for yourself; after all, it has been a known fact for some time now that if you do something for 21 days consecutively it will become a habit. So here we go with making this a positive habit for our wellbeing.
Happiness and smiling is known to be contagious for the most part with some exceptions of course, so I am going to try to smile and sprinkle some joyful sparkle everywhere I go. ♥♥
So if I was to list the things I am grateful today, it would sound something like this, and you’d be surprised to see how deep this can all get, if you dig deep enough:
I am so very grateful today for my health and for having all my limbs and motor skills in tact to be able to write this blog for you to read. My eyesight to be able to read what I am writing and my hearing to be able to hear the keys on my keyboard as I am typing my thoughts.
I am also very grateful for having internet connection, to be able to post this online for you and others to be able to read it.
I am truly grateful for being able to have a computer to write on, and so grateful for having the electricity to enable my computer to work for me to be able to write my thoughts.
I am so grateful for having a roof over my head, food in the fridge, water in my faucets to be able to drink and also to shower and keep clean and to be able to wash my clothes with that water. Heating system to keep me warm in this cold weather and to keep my water warm for when I take my shower.
I can go on and on about things I am grateful for, the sun and the moon, I am grateful for the kindness of the universe, I am grateful for my family I am grateful for so many things it’s impossible to mention them all.
If we think about all the things that we are grateful for every single day and every chance we get, then we would be much kinder in our spirit to everyone around us, and then they would feel the sincerity of our love and kindness and hold on to that feeling and pass it along to the next person they come across, and so the ripple will keep on going and oh what a wonderful world that will become.
Baby steps…put one foot in front of the other and start from there and see where it takes you.
I am just brain storming on possible blogs to write and thinking it would be fun to have a giveaway blog…not sure of the logistics yet, but perhaps a giveaway gift for the best comment on my blog posts or something like that, still brainstorming on this. Start commenting on my posts I would love to hear your thoughts, It’ll make me feel like someone is reading my blogs.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
