Headed to the Labor Day Art Show: Celebrating “Heart in the Machine”

I am so thrilled and honored to share that my oil painting “Heart in the Machine“ (20×24″) has officially been accepted into the 55th Annual Labor Day Art Show at Glen Echo Park!

The exhibition will be on display in the historic Spanish Ballroom, running from September 5 through September 7, 2026 (with an opening reception on Friday, September 4).

This piece holds a very special place in my heart, exploring the delicate narrative between human emotion and metallic structure, rendered in rich fields of red. While its studio companion piece, “Trust in the Machine“ (24×20″), won’t be joining it at the exhibition, the two were created as a pair exploring these deep themes of vulnerability, connection, and abstract realism.

If you are local to the area or looking for things to do over the holiday weekend, I would love for you to come experience the exhibition in person at the Spanish Ballroom and view “Heart in the Machine” up close. Thank you all so much for your continuous support of my creative journey. It means the world to share these stories with you!

Stay tuned for more updates from the studio, and make sure to follow along on Instagram and Facebook for a behind-the-scenes look at the show.
